Pick Your Adventure at Sesquicentennial State Park:

Sesqui State Park is a great place for a seriously budget-friendly day of adventure with your family!

Sesqui State Park

“What will your adventure be today?” reads the sign that greets you as you enter Sesquicentennial State Park. It is the perfect sign, because this park in Columbia, SC is chock-full of family adventures.

Like many South Carolina State parks, Sesqui was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Many of the buildings built by the CCC are still in use in the park. They date back to the 1930s. Make sure to check out this bit of neat history while you’re in the park.

Splashpad at Sesqui

The Splashpad at Sesquicentennial State Park

There are few SC State Parks with splash pads, and Sesqui is one of them! The splash pad at Sesqui is awesome. It’s fenced and has a variety of water features for kids to enjoy; literally, there are 26 sprayers of different types. We love that there are chairs for the adults to relax and an attached restroom with changing facilities and vending machines.

There is no additional cost to use the splash pad. The splash pad is free with regular park admission.

Sesqui’s splash pad is worth a day trip drive just by itself, in our opinion.

The splash pad is located beside the parking lot. It’ll be on your right as enter the park. It shares a parking lot with the office, playground, and lake area.

The Lake at Sesquicentennial State Park: Kayaks, SUPs, and Pedal Boats

While swimming is not permitted at Sesquicentennial State Park, that doesn’t mean there aren’t opportunities to enjoy the lake. Pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards are available to rent at Sesquicentennial State Park at a very affordable price. Pedal boats and SUPs are just $10 and kayaks are only $5 for one hour or $25 for the day. If you’ve ever thought about trying these sports, this is a fabulous way to give it a whirl.

Private kayaks, canoes, and SUPs are allowed on the lake, as well.

Things to know about boat rentals and SUPs at Sesqui

  • Kids under 16 are not allowed on rented boards or boats without an adult. With only 3 participating adults and 7 kids, our group rented a two-person kayak, a pedal boat, and a couple of SUPs. Because the lake is fairly small, we set up on the shore and just took turns with different kids and different boats.
  • These rentals are popular. You cannot reserve in advance, so do be prepared to wait. The park has about 8 pedal boats available, roughly the same number of kayaks, and 4 SUPs.
  • Pedal boats are popular and only rent for one hour at a time, other craft can be rented longer than one hour.
  • To rent a boat, simply go to the park office. You’ll pay and be given a key to unlock your boat. Paddles and life jackets are located at the office and you’ll be directed to grab those and bring them with you to the lake. All that’s left is to walk to the lake, unlock your boat, and head out.
Sesqui shore

Enjoy the Lake from the Shore

Both the picnic area and playground are located beside the lake, offering a pretty and relaxing view. There is also a 1.9-mile trail that circles the lake, with a pretty bridge over Jackson Creek. The trail starts out paved but is mainly gravel with some areas of boardwalk over marshy sections. The path would work well for off-road type strollers, but likely not anything with small wheels.

Along this path you’ll enjoy views of the lake, wildflowers, a small waterfall, and birds.

More Hiking Trails at Sesquicentennial State Park

  • 1/2 mile Nature trail
  • 3.5 Loop Road Trail that circles the park
  • 6.5 mile mountain biking trail

In total, there about 12 miles of trails for hiking and biking, walking and exploring.

Sesqui’s Playground and Picnic Area

Beside the parking lot, and between the park office and the lake, is a wooded area with two playgrounds and lots of picnic tables, plus picnic shelters available to rent. There are also restrooms centrally located in this area.

Sesqui Dog Park

A dog park is available at Sesquicentennial State Park, but there is an additional fee.

  • Park admission is not included in the price of the Dog Park permit.

Lake Murray Public Park: The Perfect Swimming Spot This Summer in Lexington, SC

Posted on |

Are you planning a trip to Lake Murray Public Park in Lexington, SC? If you are looking for a family-friendly place to take a swim this summer, Lake Murray might be just the place. At Lake Murray Public Park you’ll find both a beach area and lake swimming access that’s the perfect place to play, then jump in and cool off. We recently visited Lake Murray Public Park and have all the details you need to know from a mom’s perspective.

Lake Murray Park beach

Accessing Lake Murray Park

There are two sides to Lake Murray Park: the Lexington Side and Irmo Side. The Irmo side is open all year and includes a boat ramp, picnic areas, and fishing dock, but no swimming. This side is great for kayaks and paddling.

The Lexington side is open from April to September and is where you will want to go for all things swimming-related! Keep reading to learn more about the Lexington/swimming area of the lake!

Swim and Dig at the Lake

Whether your family is made up of babies and tots or even if you’ve got teens, your children will love it at Lake Murray Public Park! The beach is the perfect size for kids to dig and run around on and for families to spread out their beach towels or even set up an umbrella for extra shade.

The swimming area of the lake is roped off but very spacious. You may even see some boats driving past, however, they are pretty far off from the swimming area and don’t cause too much of a wake.

Playing at Lake Murray Park

Parking at Lake Murray Park

A one-time use pass to the park requires an online reservation for $5 up to three weeks in advance. Keep in mind that once you leave the park, you won’t be able to get back in. The main parking lot will get you close to the swimming and beach area.

Picnic at the Lake

At Lake Murray Public Park, you will find countless amounts of picnic tables, both covered and uncovered. Several of them also have public grills nearby. Keep in mind that these are all first-come, first-serve, however, I don’t foresee there being an issue with places to sit down for snacks or lunch breaks.

Picnic at Lake Murray Park

Swim at Your Own Risk: No Life Guards at Lake Murray

There are no on-duty lifeguards at Lake Murray Public Park. Because of this, lifejackets may be a good idea even if your children are a bit older. While there are no lifeguards, there are on-site security personnel, a security station, and an emergency phone.

Packing for the Lake

The entrance into the lake itself is a bit rocky and rough on little feet. I highly suggest bringing water shoes for everyone, but especially your littles! This is one thing I kept saying over and over again that we needed for next time.

If your kiddos are part fish, another great idea would be to bring their goggles! I know, it might sound funny for a lake, but the water was surprisingly super clear. It would be fun for your kiddos to dive down and see what treasures they can find.

Blow up the floaties and inner-tubes and load them with you, too! While the swimming area doesn’t get super deep, floats are always fun to lounge around on or, really to flip each other over! As mentioned previously, lifejackets may also be necessary!

Don’t forget the toys! My kids really enjoyed digging with their shovels and making sandcastles near the water. Several families also brought water guns, beach balls, and floating toys.

Here’s your Lake Murray Park Packing List:

  • hats
  • sunscreen
  • sunglasses
  • towels
  • water bottles
  • snacks
  • beach blanket and maybe folding chairs
  • grilling utensils if you plan on using that feature
  • water shoes
  • goggles
  • floats and water toys
  • life jacket

More Things To Do at the Lake

From the parking lots, you can also walk the Lake Murray Dam. The walk is 1.7 miles one way and gives you beautiful views of both the lake and city skyline. Pro tip: do this in the evening so you can watch the sunset, and so it’s a bit cooler!

Looking for more places to swim around the Midlands? Be sure to check out our list of more than 30 places to cool off!

Things to do at Saluda Shoals in Columbia, SC

It’s very unlikely that your kiddos won’t be worn out from the lake, but if you’re still looking for more fun, Saluda Shoals is less than a 10 min drive and offers several playgrounds, hiking trails, and a splash pad.

Enjoy a Family-Friendly Day Trip to the Newberry Recreation Complex!

Posted on |

Inside: A South Carolina mom visits the Newberry Recreation Complex with her kids, and shares all the details and tips for a trip to the complex with playground, pickle ball, ping pong, fishing, nature tail, and more.

The Newberry Recreation Complex is hands-down the king of kid’s recreation in Newberry, SC. With extensive sports facilities, fully accessible playgrounds, a splash park, and a hidden lake trail, this place has plenty to fill a whole summer day with excitement for your children. Kidding Around’s Sarah Burnett explored the complex and put together the perfect plan to enjoy all it has to offer!

Newberry Recreation Complex

The city of Newberry is the perfect driving distance for a day trip from all directions! It’s only 45 minutes from Columbia in the Midlands, 1 hour from Greenville and Spartanburg in the Upstate, and not even 2 hours from Charlotte up in North Carolina. If you’re looking to fill your summer schedule with your kids, make sure the Newberry Recreation Complex gets a spot on your list!

Quick Summary: Newberry Recreation Complex

The Newberry Recreation Complex is a must-visit destination for families—especially if your kids love to stay active and explore!

Here’s what makes it unforgettable:
• Hidden Lake Trail + fishing spots 🎣
• Fully accessible playgrounds
• Picnic shelters, pickleball, and ping-pong
• Gully Washer Splash Park 💦
• Exercise equipment & batting cages

📍Newberry, SC – just 45 minutes from Columbia and an hour from Greenville and Spartanburg!
💡Tip: Bring your own gear (fishing, sports, splash clothes) and plan for a full day of fun.

Hike and Fish at the Hidden Lake

The Newberry Recreation Complex opens every day at 8 am, and for the perfect day exploring the park, you’ll want to arrive as close to that as you can! I highly recommend heading straight to Hidden Lake at the far end of the complex.

True to its name, you might have a little trouble finding Hidden Lake, so let me help you out: Follow the signs for the Gully Washer Splash Park (more on that later!) and then drive right past it. You’ll come to the end of the paved parking lot and think to yourself, “Oh no! I must have missed the turn-off!” But you’ll be wrong!

At the end of the lot, there is a gravel drive on the right-hand side, which honestly looked to me like an access road for the facilities team. Leave your car in the parking lot, and then trek down this path into the woods. You’ll pass a couple of facilities buildings (I knew it!) and then come to the lake, with the whole walk being roughly a quarter-mile downhill. Bring whatever you need with you, but just remember you’ll have to walk it back up the hill at the end!

Hidden Lake at Newberry Recreation Complex

Here, you will find a beautiful view of the lake and access to the nature trail which wraps around it. The lake is about 4.75 acres in size, and Hidden Lake Trail is about 3 quarters of a mile.

Nature Trail

The trail has all-natural terrain but is wide and mostly level all the way around the lake. It’s easily navigable with a wagon, and a stroller with sturdy wheels could probably handle it, too.

The walk around Hidden Lake only takes about 15-20 minutes, so my advice is to hike it first and find your perfect fishing spot from there!

Fishing is permitted anywhere around the lake, and you are allowed to catch up to 5 fish per person per day. The state of South Carolina does require a license for fishermen ages 16 and older, so make sure you purchase your license through their website. If you forget to do this before your visit, don’t worry—you can buy one online before you start to fish, and the verification will be sent instantly to your email!

Kids will love the natural beauty of Hidden Lake, and making this your first stop in the morning will increase their chances of having a memorable encounter with local wildlife. You’ll need to bring your own fishing gear, and always be vigilant for your children’s safety around the water.

Pickleball, Ping-Pong, and a Picnic Shelter

If your kids are little, your time exploring Hidden Lake might last up to about an hour. If they are older, you could spend considerably longer just walking, talking, and fishing down there. Whatever the case, when you realize it’s time to wrap up, head back to your car to move on to the next phase of the day!

Picnic Shelter

Next to the very same parking lot, you will have easy access to 2 different picnic shelter options, so I highly recommend taking advantage of this interval for a snack or lunch break. Make sure to pack your own food, as there are no concessions available inside Newberry Recreation Complex.

If you forget to pack something, then consider jetting out of the park briefly to visit one of Newberry’s family-friendly eateries like Zesto Drive-In, El Poblano, or Laila’s Place!

If you choose wisely, your picnic shelter might put you right next to one of the most unique features of Newberry Recreation Complex’s sports facilities: regulation ping-pong tables and a pickleball court! You do have to bring your own equipment for these, so definitely plan ahead if you think your family would enjoy one or both of those activities. This is a great option for kids to eat and play before going to the next space in the park!

Playtime at Newberry’s Fully Accessible Playground

Within sight of the picnic shelters, ping-pong tables, and pickleball court, you won’t be able to miss Newberry’s first fully accessible playground!

Inclusive Playground at Newberry Recreation Cmoplex

There are 2 central playsets, one for toddlers and preschoolers and one for ages roughly 5 to 12 years old. The younger children’s playset features a toddler slide and rock-n-boat, while the bigger playset offers a tall double-slide perfect for racing, as well as a longer, low-grade tactile slide! Other play equipment includes interactive sensory panels, a turnabout spinner, and multiple accessible swings.

Right next to the playground, you’ll also see Newberry Recreation Complex’s exercise equipment and batting cages! If you’ve got an athlete in your family, especially a baseball or softball player, they might enjoy bringing their pitching and batting gear to try this out. Just be aware that hitters are required to wear their batting helmet at all times in the cages.

One important note about both the playground and batting cages— These are in a low-lying area compared to the surrounding park grounds, so if it rains overnight, you can expect some puddles that could take most of the day to dry.

Cool Off at Gully Washer Splash Park!

Okay, now your kids have hiked, fished, been fed, and played their hearts out! What could possibly be left to do?? I gave it away earlier, and this is a can’t-miss feature of Newberry Recreation Complex during the summers: Gully Washer Splash Park!

Gully Washer Splash Park

Originally a splash pad like any other, Gully Washer underwent significant redesign and renovations to ultimately reopen as a fully inclusive splash park in 2023. Most of the water features are at ground level or have low-grade designs, making them ideal for kids of all ages and those with physical disabilities. Play structures include misting stations, waterfalls, splash tiles, tube slides, and of course the classic dumping bucket!

Gully Washer Splash Park

Gully Washer Splash Park usually opens around mid-May and closes on Labor Day Weekend each year. Operating hours may vary, but historically it has been open no later than 10 am and closed by 5 pm each day. Be sure to check the Gully Wash Splash Park website when planning your visit for the latest information about the current season’s schedule!

While the rest of Newberry Recreation Complex is completely free to enjoy, daily admission to Gully Washer Splash Park typically runs about $3 per person, regardless of age. Adult supervision is absolutely mandatory and strictly enforced in the splash park.

Your kids will LOVE cooling off from their full day of play in Gully Washer Splash Park, and you are virtually guaranteed to get wet and drawn into the fun while you accompany them! So make sure you pack whatever water clothes and shoes are needed for the whole family, and keep a beach towel and dry clothes in the car for your return journey home.

Maybe even pack an easy dinner and PJs— After a day like that, I know my kids will almost certainly be asleep by the time we pull back into our driveway!

Suggested Packing List: Newberry Recreation Complex

Before you set out, plan to pack…

Inside: A local parent shares all the details parents need to know about visiting Saluda Shoals Park.

Are you thinking about a visit to Saluda Shoals Park? If you’re looking for ways to enjoy the great outdoors, have some fun on the Saluda River or explore awesome play areas with your kids, Saluda Shoals is the place for you! Saluda makes for the perfect day trip activity or even a wonderful place to spend a few extra hours out of the house. We’ve got all you need to know about things to do, our favorite places to go within the park, and events you won’t want to miss out on!

Things to do at Saluda Shoals in Columbia, SC

Scoot on Over to Saluda

Saluda Shoals is a large 480-acre park that can be found along the banks of the Saluda River. This park encourages play within nature and does a wonderful job at keeping amenities clean, the landscape well-manicured, and the park itself inviting! Catching a glimpse of wildlife is not unheard of here. Take a break from the hustle of the city and enjoy the fresh air, nature, and all the fun Saluda has to offer!

Arriving at Saluda Shoals Park

Saluda Shoals has two entrances into the park. The main entrance, also considered the West Entrance, can be found off of Bush River Road. It is best to enter here if you are planning on going to the splash pad and smaller playground, kayak/tube rental shed, or dog park.

The East Entrance is located off St. Andrews Rd. and we recommend entering through this gate if you’re looking for Leo’s Landing, the Drone Zone, disc golf course, or tennis courts. Either entrance can get you to where you need to be, but for convenience, this is what we’d recommend.

Saluda Admission and Annual Passes

Entry into the park is $5/car. If you plan to visit the park frequently, an annual pass for $60 could be the best option for your family. A few of the amenities such as the dog park and splash pad cost additional fees which will be discussed below.

Top Things to do With Young Kids at Saluda Shoals Park

Leo’s Landing

Leo’s Landing is the perfect all-inclusive playground that you never knew you were missing! It is a very unique and well-designed play space featuring large ziplines, countless climbing structures, a musical area, a variety of inclusive swings, and so much more! Be sure to check out our review of Leo’s Landing for more details and tips!

Saluda Splash

Need a place to cool off while enjoying Saluda Shoals? Head over to this large splash pad and let your kiddos run free.

This splash pad has a lot to offer. There’s several sprinklers for kids to enjoy as well as a large dumping bucket. My kids love to bring large plastics cups with them to fill up and splash at one another!

Saluda Shoals Splash Pad

To enter the splash pad, you will need a wristband which costs an additional $4/person at the gate. If you think you’ll use this feature a lot, you may want to look into purchasing a 15-visit pass for $55. The pass can be used at both Saluda Splash and the Melvin Park splash pad in Chapin.

The splash pad hours change frequently throughout the summer so be sure to double-check that they will be open before you go!

Saluda Shoals Splashpad Hours (2025)

  • April 26 – June 1
    • Saturday and Sunday 10 am – 6 pm
  • May 26 (Memorial Day) 9 am – 6 pm
  • June 2 – August 6
    • Monday – Friday 10 am – 1 pm
    • Saturday 10 am – 6 pm
    • Sunday 12 pm – 5 pm
  • August 9 – September 14
    • Saturday 10 am – 6 pm
    • Sunday 12 pm – 5 pm

Shaded Playground

Right next to the splash pad sits a completely covered and shady playground with a rock wall, slides, and monkey bars. There is also a large picnic shelter and restrooms next to the playground and splash pad. For a full day of play, we recommend bringing a dry change of clothes, packing a lunch, and then heading over to either the shaded playground or Leo’s Landing after the splash pad.

Our Favorite Outdoor Adventures at Saluda Shoals

The outdoor fun is endless at Saluda Shoals Park! Load up your family and enjoy nature, make memories along the river, and observe the wildlife all around you. Here are just a few of our favorite outdoor activities available at Saluda. Keep in mind that children must be at least 5 years old to take part in rental activities!

Swim in the Saluda River

We found the perfect place at Saluda Shoals to splash around and swim in the river! That being said, swimming at Saluda is allowed; however, there are no lifeguards or roped-off swim areas so, swim at your own risk!

To get to the “swimming hole” we recommend either parking at the Splash Pad or the lot near the upper boat ramp and kayak rental shed. If coming from the splash pad, follow the sidewalk to the far back of the parking area. When you see the picnic shelter, continue along the trail which will lead you into the parking lot of the boat ramp. Here you will have a great view of the river! Continue walking towards the left and you will come to the set of stairs that leads you down to the swimming area. While the beach landing isn’t large, it is decent-sized and gives the perfect entry into the river.

Saluda Shoals River
River Access at Saluda Shoals

My family was not aware of this little swimming hole before our trip, but we still walked down and let our son dip his toes in. There was another family taking advantage of the cool water that had small tubes and toys for their kids to play with. I also loved that this area was very shady and surrounded by some of the trails.

Pro tip: don’t forget the water shoes if you plan on going for a swim!

Trails at Saluda Shores

Load up the bicycles and lace up the walking shoes because throughout Saluda Shoals Park you will find more than 10 miles of trails! These trails are both paved and unpaved, have a variety of different lengths and are welcoming to many different fitness levels. Several miles of the trails even run along the river . . . talk about a beautiful view!

Saluda Shoals Park along the river

Kayaking and Canoeing

What better way to enjoy the Saluda River than by kayak or canoe! The park has canoes and both single and tandem kayaks available for rent from 9 am – 4 pm, daily. You can rent these for 1 hour for $25, 2 hours for $35, or for the entire day for $50.

This is a popular attraction during the spring and summer months so be prepared to potentially wait in line. As always, we recommend getting there early, especially during the weekend!

Canoe and kayak rentals

River Tubing

Rent a tube for just $15 and have a relaxing two-hour float down the Saluda River! Rentals take place daily from 9 am – 3 pm and must be returned no later than 5 pm. Don’t forget to bring a small waterproof bag or cooler along with you for snacks and water.

Other Things To Enjoy At Saluda

Some additional amenities that can be found within Saluda Shoals Park are a disc golf course, two boat ramps, 8 picnic shelters, a river observation deck, team building programs, bird observation, and a large tennis court complex.

Barking Lot Dog Park

Have a 4-legged furry child . . . I mean pet at home? Allow them to tag along on your family adventure and take them over to this 2-acre, fenced-in green space to run and play. Not only does this dog park have an agility course, but it also includes 3 shallow pools for your dog to cool off in, a fire hydrant sprayer, and a large gazebo. In order to use this feature, however, you must purchase a $40 annual pass which is good for up to 2 dogs per family. Leashed dogs are also permitted along the trails for no extra fees or passes required.

Drone Zone

Calling all drone lovers! Head over to the “drone zone” located next to Leo’s Landing and practice your flying in a large, open green space. I’ve personally never seen this offered in other parks and thought it was a neat attraction!

Event Spaces at Saluda Shoals

If you need a unique space to host a meeting, wedding, birthday party, or any other social gathering – look no further! Saluda Shoals is home to three event spaces that can be rented out all throughout the year: Meech House, River Center, and Environmental Center. To book your next event you can go online for more information or contact Lori at 803.213.2015.

Events You Don’t Want to Miss at Saluda Shoals

Saluda Shoals has a calendar FULL of events year-round. One of the most noteworthy events is the Christmas light display, “Lights on the River.” The route goes on for 2.5 miles with a place about halfway through to stop and roast s’mores, purchase hot chocolate, and enjoy several other holiday favorites.

The lights themselves are truly amazing. Cars packed with families and eager children filled with the holiday spirit go on for MILES. Our best tip is to get to the park before the start time and prepare to wait. As in, pack lots of snacks and car-friendly activities for the kiddos. Even if you don’t get there early, you’ll be in a looooooong line of cars waiting to enter. It’s worth it though, we promise!

Some of the other events you can find at Saluda Shoals are wine tastings, beer tastings, cook-offs, family days, a 4th of July celebration, and more! Be sure to check out their calendar

Summer Camps at Saluda Shoals

Fun Adventures at Cottle Strawberry Farm in Columbia, SC

Posted on |

Inside: A local parent review of strawberry picking at Cottle Strawberry Farm. Get real info from local parents about the activities at the farm, plus tips and tricks to keep in mind for your visit.

Have you visited Cottle Strawberry Farm for strawberry picking? Columbia, SC has one of the largest strawberry patches located on a beautiful, huge farm where strawberries are plentiful. Plus, it is such a memorable springtime experience to visit a strawberry farm. Columbia, SC’s Cottle Strawberry Farm offers both u-pick and prepicked strawberries, plus lots of activities to enjoy as well for the 2025 season!

The first thing I noticed when pulling into Cottle Strawberry Farm outside Columbia, SC was the rows upon rows upon rows of strawberries. The place is huge and the berries are juicy, sweet, and delicious.

Cottle Strawberry Farm, Columbia, SC

The Strawberry Farm

Cottle Strawberry Farm is run by Ms. Joy Cottle, and the family has been farming the land for about 50 years. They have two strawberry picking locations, one in Hopkins, SC, and the other in Florence, SC. We went to the one in Hopkins, right outside Columbia.

They host field trips and, of course, families and others who want to get outside and pick their own berries. Only school groups need to make reservations, and like we always suggest, it’s good to call ahead before you go since the weather is a constant variable for u-pick farms.

Besides picking your own strawberries, the farm offers locally made strawberry bread, local honey, tomatoes, jams, and salsas. The farm has multiple roadside stands (addresses are listed below) and sells their berries and local goods at farmers’ markets in the area.

Cottle Strawberry Farm strawberries

Like some other farms, they have cute, painted boards to measure how tall your kids are every year and take photos with cut-out heads in painted scenes on boards. They have over 30 family-fun attractions, a 10 acre corn maze, and so many things to enjoy.

Strawberry Picking at Cottle Strawberry Farm

The farm offers two sizes for upick strawberry picking – a quart ($5) and a gallon ($17). They will give you directions on parts of the strawberry patch that are good for picking. Then head out and get those berries. It’s always a good idea to wear closed-toed shoes when strawberry picking due to ants, other insects, and mud. And a hat, sunscreen, and water are also great things to have with you, especially as the weather heats up.

It only took us about 30 minutes to fill up two gallons, so the berries are plentiful, to say the least. There is a lot of space to spread out so even if you are there when a field trip or two are present, you won’t feel crowded.

Hours

Check back soon for Cottle Strawberry Farm u-pick opening date for the 2025 season. They are usually open Monday – Saturday 8 am – 7 pm and Sunday 10 am – 6 pm, but remember this can change due to conditions in the field.

You pick berries are $5/quart and $17/gallon. Berries picked by the farm are $6/quart, $14/half gallon, and $20/gallon. We pick berries are available at select stands beginning in mid-March.
