There you are in a field of corn, acres of corn, cut into an intricate maze. Ironically, you can’t tell what it’s in the shape of, because all you see is corn. What do you do now? Your Kidding Around® team members created this list of tips and tricks for surviving a corn maze with your kids.
- Bring water. It’s hot out there.
- Bring snacks. There’s no telling how long you’ll be in there.
- Visit the restroom before you enter, whether those kiddos think they need to or not.
- Don’t forget sunscreen and hats. Farmers don’t just wear those straw hats because they look good.
- Grab a map. Cheat if necessary.
- Don’t cut through the corn!
- Listen for clues outside the maze to help you figure out where you are.
- Some larger mazes have markers inside the maze to help you orient yourself.
- Above all else, don’t lose your children!

Clinton Sease Farm
Clinton Sease Farm is located in Lexington, SC and was established in 1940. The farm has expanded since the early 2000s to include several public attractions, including a corn maze, birthday parties, and school tours.
