Riverbanks Zoo
Homeschool days: Usually on Mondays each month
Time: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm (ages 5 – 12)
10:45 am – 11:45 am (ages 3-5)
Cost: Ages 5 – 12: $36 per session (If you are not a zoo member, you will also need a general admission ticket.)
Ages 3 – 5: $10 per child (If you are not a zoo member, you will also need a general admission ticket.)
Info: Ages 5 – 12: There’s a new class each month with focus on various zoo topics. Classes will meet in the Colonial Life Discovery Center. Be sure to check the website for more information on specific dates and to register online.

Cost: Free general admission for homeschool families, which includes one adult (the primary educator) and their children. Discounted admission to the 4D theater and planetarium is $3/person.

Info: Homeschool Mondays consists of 2 one-hour programs with an emphasis on science, technology, or mathematics. The program is divided into two groups based on age.
