Summer camp at JCC is for children ages 4 through rising 9th graders. During this full-day camp, campers will participate in drama, dance, swimming, sports, gardening, crafts, and fitness activities.

Flight Adventure Park’s Summer Camp is designed to keep children active through a variety of activities including dodgeball, AirSlam Basketball, rope ladder course, Warrior Course, and more! There is also a Creation Station with art, puzzles, movies, reading, and games.
The Columbia Children’s Theatre Summer Camp is a week-long experience to get your child moving, learning and having fun. Activities will include acting, set design, playwriting, and more. There are a variety of camp offerings for different age groups.
The Columbia Museum of Art has a small play area for children. Visiting the rest of the museum does require admission, but they offer several programs for kids and youth.

Geared for rising 7-9th graders, CREATEng is The Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics Summer Camp for kids to experience engineering by participating in a field trip at a local company.
Richland County Recreation Commission offers a full-day Summer Mania camp at multiple locations for ages 5-12 that is designed to meet the physical, creative and social needs of kids. A variety of activities are offered including recreational activities, games, arts and crafts, and conservation activities.
Summer camp at TyJasKey Academic Enrichment and Mentoring Center includes academic enrichment, stem programs, computer programs, sports, and more.
7 week summer program with hands-on music video production including singing, acting, dance, creating flyers and props, and video production. Camp is for ages 8 to 17.

Girls Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands is offering several summer camps for girls. Girls entering 1st-5th grades are invited to the Day Camp at The Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center in Columbia.
Camp Kanuga is an American Camp Association-accredited co-ed summer camp affiliated with The Episcopal Church, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. There are several camp options available, and camps are offered for rising kindergartners through rising 12th graders.

Summer Camps: Aletheia Dance Inc. offers a 1-week Summer Camp Intensive for ages 3+. Campers are able to choose from one of 3 intensive tracks, and camp will also include 1-2 enrichment classes.

Brussell’s Gymnastics offers several classes for children of all age levels as well as programming throughout the year. They also have Sprouts Morning Out for crawlers through 5 years old (this is returning in Fall 2022) where kids can play and bounce around in the padded play areas.

Camp Chatuga is a traditional overnight summer camp for children ages 6 to 16 years old. Camp lengths vary from 1-r weeks. Activities include horseback riding, water-skiing, BMX bikes, arts and crafts, archery, animal care, and so much more! Camp P.A.L.S. is a summer camp for children with social skills deficits (including but not limited to Asperger’s, high-functioning autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities). Camp Staff incorporate physical activity and social skills support using a variety of theory driven practices.
Capital City Gymnastics offers a summer camp experience for children ages 4-13. Activities will include games, crafts, bounce house, snacks, and of course, gymnastics!

Challenger Learning Center has several different camp options for children ages 7-18. Camps include Aviation Academy, Robot Camp, Astronaut Academy, Intro to Drone, Artemis Rocket Intro/Advanced, Intro to Aviation, and more! Camps run various lengths.
Chesterbrook Academy’s Summer Camp has many activities to keep your child excited and engaged, including field trips, sports, STEM projects, arts and crafts, music, dance, and drama. Full Day Camp is available for children ages 5-12. There’s also a Kindergarten Enrichment program for children 4-5 years old.
Classes: Ballet classes are offered for beginning through advanced students, or age 3 through adult.
Summer Camps: Columbia Ballet School offers two separate Summer Camps: Royal Academy (3-6 year olds) and Superpowers: Simply Marvelous (5-7 year olds). Camp is open to both boys and girls and no dance experience is required.
Columbia Sailing Club hosts multiple Sailing Summer Camps for ages 4-17. The variety of classes accounts for all skill levels, and you don’t have to own a boat or be a club member in order to register. The camps are full-day programs (9 am – 5 pm).

Summer camps for kids 8 to 12 who love history. This year’s camp is How Stuff Works: History Edition. Campers will learn about plant science and inventions, art, and more.
Camp is offered June 20th – 24th, 2022 and July 11th – 15th, 2022.
Summer camp fun at Game Changers includes full-day programs for campers ages 5 to 14 years old in reading/writing, science, math, history, and faith-based programs.

The University of South Carolina offers football camps for kids to learn new techniques and become overall better football players. Campers will be able to learn from current assistant football coaches and current student-athletes at USC.
