The FARM 1780’s chicks will be hatching on September 3rd, and a few lucky families will have a chance to care for them! The farm’s rent-a-chick program will allow families to take home baby chicks for two weeks. Each family will be given the following supplies:
- 3 chicks (about 5-days old)
- A box for the chicks to live in
- Extra bedding
- Feeders, Waterers, and Feed for 2-weeks
- Heat Lamp
- Instructions for care
- A certificate for a dozen eggs when your chicks start lay in the Spring
At the end of two weeks, each family will return the chicks and equipment to The FARM 1780.
