Old Mill Pond Trail
Tucked behind the charming Old Mill Brew Pub at 711 E Main Street, this scenic spot blends nature, history, and hops into one delightful afternoon. The paved trail wraps around Old Mill Pond, offering a peaceful, easy stroll with beautiful views of the water — perfect for clearing your head or justifying that burger and fries later.
The real star of the show? The waterfall. Yes, you read that right — there’s a legit, Instagram-worthy waterfall right here in Lexington. The falls spill from the old dam that once powered the historic mill, creating a picture-perfect scene.
The trail is roughly a mile long, making it perfect for all ages — from energetic kiddos to dogs who think they’re on a grand expedition. And, it’s paved making it great for strollers. In fact, you can bike here. Just no Ebikes! No kayaking in the pond either!

Parking can be a little tricky as this trail gains in popularity. There are plans in the works for a new parking area. But for now, you’ll find the Old Mill parking lot near the brew pub.
