Let me introduce you to one of my absolute favorite beach spots, just an easy 20-minute drive from downtown Charleston, SC. The waves draw in the pro surfers every morning. But that’s not all – picture a charming downtown area oozing with total beach vibes and easy access to other nearby beaches. You’re also close to both Charleston and Mt. Pleasant.

Now, let’s talk perks: there are public restrooms and even outdoor showers to rinse off the sand, so you can stay fresh all day long. Wander along the boardwalk, grab a bite at the full-service restaurant, or snag some souvenirs at the gift shop. And here’s a little insider tip for you: if you’re all about saving a little money, park a bit further from the Folly Pier Structure – trust me, your wallet will thank you later!

Myrtle Beach, SC
